WE BELIEVE IN MAKING DISCIPLES
Light of The World Christian School is providing an excellent educational opportunity for some of the poor children of this village. Because of poverty and a generally poor public school system, these children are getting many opportunities that they would otherwise not receive. They benefit from small class sizes and caring, dedicated teachers.
The school is a safe and loving place for children. It has become a doorway to reach parents and the community with the love of Jesus by meeting physical needs such as house building and repair, dental and medical help, water filters as well as spiritual help and emotional support.
To glorify God by forming disciples of Jesus and leaders that will impact their community, country and the world; educating, guiding and equipping them to be successful and passionate disciples of Jesus Christ.

The school is a ministry of the Guatemalan non-profit organization “Asociacion el Faro”( Association Lighthouse).
Light of the World is also afflited with Christian Education Ministries International Canada CEMI, and Foothills Community Church in Molalla, Oregon.
